When Sky needed a better way to recognise great work across their 12,000-strong global Customer Service Group, they didn't reach for an off-the-shelf solution. They partnered with MakeBuild to build a bespoke recognition platform that felt personal to the user.

The result was Sky Ignite: a full-stack, authenticated web application built in Webflow and Webflow Cloud, complete with tiered awards, custom 3D visuals, and complex multi-role workflows, all delivered on time and seamlessly integrated with Sky's existing intranet.

The response exceeded every expectation. Over 2,000 nominations were submitted on day one alone, more than double the predicted engagement, and the platform now handles 9,500+ nominations per month, with a second phase already underway.
